The genus Dendrobium was best represented with 16 species. Majority of orchids were epiphytic. Lagerstroemia flos-reginae was the most preferred host of the epiphytic orchids. Coconut husk tied on wooden sticks was found to be the best potting medium for the eppiphytic orchids. Foliar anatomical studies revealed that these features could also be used in taxonomic consideration along with morphological considerations.
