Dr. Bhupender is one of the most motivated researchers I have ever met. He takes his work very seriously, and always has new ideas brewing even while he is working on a current project. This keeps him focused and allows him to be a very productive individual. His precise and accurate record keeping goes unmatched, and is especially helpful when re-running a synthesis to produce a product in larger quantity. Dr. Bhupender has taught me everything I know about the research lab and has been very patient with me as I have progressed. He keeps the big picture in mind, for example, how an alteration in a molecule will affect a patient and their family, as well as how it will affect a group of cells. Also, he is the type of researcher who would rather show me how to complete a reaction even if it may take more time, than just completing it himself and allowing me watch. He encourages me to be efficient and use my time wisely when running reactions, and always emphasizes research. Dr. Bhupender has taught me that research is an important factor in creating ideas for new projects, as creating a compound that has already been discovered is very ineffective. He is an important asset to the University of Rhode Island research team and I am very fortunate to have learned from him.
Dr.Bhupender is a detailed, motivated researcher who is dedicated to his projects. He will work long days if necessary to complete his work on time. He is very smart and learns how to use all the equipment so he is not limited in his research.
He can be soft spoken sometimes, but this is a minor problem.
