Developing academic career is just like developing oneself in any social or family environment and so you need someone to care for you, push you, pamper you and promote you. If you are lucky you will get all this in bundle a friendly mentor. But if you are not lucky enough, you will get it different sets. I will say, I was moderately lucky that way, having Bhupinder Singh being my side.
He is known to my since my college days, when i was trying to learn the basics of research and its conduct, where he was about to finish his Ph. D. work. If I say him an IDEAL person for research I am not exaggerating and he is still my Ideal person. Whenever I met him I could never find him upset or irritated with research or research problems. I often used to visit him for different problems, and used to get number of solutions for the same and of course bundles of motivations.
I do not find myself capable enough to comment on his academics achievements. Moreover, I do not believe also in judging someone merely by publications as person is more important than that. In my opinion, if you want to know this guy, meet him, interact only then you can assess how is he.
It’s always going to be unfinished task for me to describe a person like Bhupinder Singh. I stop here and wish every success in his life.
